How To Accomplish Any Goal

Accomplishing goals is part of a fulfilling life. Wether it's being the best mom possible, making 1 million dollars in sales or planning a vacation-these are all awesome goals that require planning to accomplish. But let's face it...we aren't always excited about all of the things we have to do in life. Or maybe we are excited but for some reason we just can't seem to make it happen. That's why I'm going to outline the steps it takes to CRUSH your goals and become a MASTER GOAL GETTER!!

To get started, let's review the basics of, well, life! 

Any change/goal starts in the mind. Your self talk must be in alignment with your goals for it to happen.

  • What you think, you become. What you feel you attract. What you imagine, you create.

  • Read on and I'll teach you how to THINK, FEEL and IMAGINE your way to whatever your heart desires.

  • Focus on small daily habits that will create big change

The following 5 Steps will assist you in doing all of these things and become the Master Goal Getter I know you can be! 

Step 1: VISION

You must create a compelling vision of what it will be like once you have achieved this goal. Picture it as if it's already happened. What do you see, hear, smell, FEEL? Soak this up! Now it's time to create a vision board that reflects what you just experienced. Go on pinterest and print off pics that remind you of what you just experienced in your vision. Past them on a board and put it where you'll see it everyday. 

Step 2: SET GOALS

Now that you are feeling excited and inspired about the things you want it’s time to set some goals on how to accomplish those dreams. This part can be tricky because you want to be very specific but ultimately let go of the form. Let me explain-

  • Your goals should be SMART

S-specific

M-measurable

A-attainable

R-realistic

T-timely

  • Write it in the present tense, as if it already happened. "It is ______ Date(or sooner) and I have accomplished_______"

  • What obstacles will you face? How can you overcome them?

  • What’s the most important thing you will do daily that will help you reach your goal?

  • Write it on a piece of paper and put it in a place you’ll see it everyday! FOCUS on what you want. 

Step 3: GET ALIGNED

Ok, so you've outlined your goal and it feels all exciting and juicy! Now it's time to get your vibe high and keep it there. The key is to stay in alignment with your highest self so that when steps to your goal are provided to you, you will see them! Think of it as staying on the same radio station as your goal. If you change the radio station it will be out there but you won't receive it because you're tuned to a different station. 

How to get and stay aligned-

  • Meditate Daily-Sit down and focus on your breath. Thoughts will pop into your head, just gently let them pass and come back to your breath.

  • Gratitude Journal Daily- Nothing keeps you more aligned with the abundance of the universe like deep gratitude for what's already in your life. FEEL into these feelings of love and appreciation. Write down at least 3 things that you are grateful for and why.

Step 4: TAKE ACTION

Taking massive action is KEY. Not just any action...ALIGNED action. This should feel like the "next logical step". It might feel a little scary but exciting! A lot of the time you will get inspirations after you do step 3 so pay attention to those ideas and take action! The universe can't help you achieve your goal if you're sitting on the couch eating bon bons. You have to be actively engaged. Your #1 goal is to keep riding those good feeling thoughts this entire process. Your feelings are your barometer to how aligned you are with your highest self and your goals. 

STEP 5: FAITH

Now your job is to have FAITH! You must believe in yourself and the universe so much that it overrides any doubt or fears. F*ck Fear!  

The daily maintenance of your vibration(Step 3) is very important. If you need an extra dose of motivation, go back to Step 1 and live in that vision then get back to Step 4! Step 5 needs to be your best friend that's got your back all the time!
